Article 1. General
TWINDO Sports Nutrition Advice, based in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, Chamber of Commerce number 95241647, respects your privacy and handles your personal data with care and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This privacy policy applies to all services provided by TWINDO Sports Nutrition Advice, including sports nutrition advice, coaching, presentations, workshops and web design.
Article 2. What data do we collect?
Through the contact form, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Subject and content of the message
During a sports nutrition counselling programme, we also collect the following:
- Body measurements (height, weight, body composition)
- Medical information relevant to diet (allergies, intolerances, medication use, relevant conditions)
- Sports-related data (training schedule, sports goals, current performance)
- Dietary habits and eating patterns
- Lifestyle data (sleep pattern, stress level, work rhythm)
- Progress data during the journey
For web design projects, we collect:
- Name and contact details
- Company Information
- Project-related information and materials supplied
Article 3. Purpose of data collection
We use your data, at the very least, for:
- Responding to your questions or requests
- The provision of the agreed services
- Drawing up personalised nutrition plans and reports
- Monitoring progress and adjusting recommendations
- Building and maintaining your website (for web design projects)
- Compliance with legal obligations, including the statutory retention obligation for tax purposes
Article 4. Legal basis for processing
The processing of your data is based on the following grounds:
- Performance of the contract: for contact details, project details and all information necessary for the provision of our services
- Express consent: for special categories of personal data, including medical information and health data collected during a sports nutrition counselling programme
- Legal obligation: for data that we are legally obliged to retain, such as the seven-year tax retention obligation
You may withdraw your consent to the processing of special categories of personal data at any time. This may mean that we are unable to continue with the advisory process.
Article 5. Website statistics
We use anonymous website statistics to improve our website. No cookies are set and no personal data is stored for this purpose. The data collected is completely anonymised and cannot be traced back to individual persons.
Article 6. Hosting and server location
TWINDO Sports Nutrition Advice uses Namecheap’s hosting services for both its own website and websites built as part of web design projects. Depending on the chosen hosting package and the selected server location, data may be stored in the United States, the United Kingdom or the European Union (Amsterdam). For web design projects, this means that personal data of website visitors may be stored outside the EU if the server location so requires. In such cases, Namecheap implements appropriate security measures. For enquiries regarding the specific server location, please contact us via info@twindo-sportvoedingsadvies.nl.
Article 7. Retention periods
- Contact form: up to 2 years after the last contact
- Email correspondence: up to 2 years
- Sports nutrition advice programmes: up to 5 years after completion of the programme
- Web design client data: for the duration of the project and for a further 7 years (statutory retention period for administrative records)
Once the retention period has expired, your data will be deleted, unless a legal obligation requires it to be retained for a longer period.
Article 8. Data Sharing
We never sell your data to third parties. We only share your data with:
- Namecheap, for hosting websites created as part of web design projects
- Competent authorities, where required by law
- Healthcare professionals, solely for the purposes of your health and safety and only with your express consent
Article 9. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS connection
- Secure servers with regular updates
- Daily backups
- Restricted access to personal data
Article 10. Automated decisions
We do not make any automated decisions about you based on algorithms or computer systems.
Article 11. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right to access your data
- Right to have your data corrected or deleted
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object to the processing of your data
- Right to withdraw your consent
- Right to data portability (copy of your data)

You can submit requests via info@twindo-sportvoedingsadvies.nl. We will respond within one month. In the case of complex requests, this may take up to three months; you will be notified of this in good time.
Article 12. Children
Our services are not aimed at children under the age of 16. If we have inadvertently received data relating to a child, we will delete it immediately upon being notified.
