Frequently Asked Questions

Is sports nutrition advice and coaching covered by health insurance?

Sports nutrition advice and coaching are not covered by the basic health insurance and are also not reimbursed through supplementary health insurance. Unlike regular dietetics, which often focuses on medical conditions, sports nutrition advice focuses on performance improvement and optimal nutrition for athletes. It is therefore an investment in your sporting ambitions that you pay for yourself.

TWINDO Sports Nutrition Advice does not have a physical practice room and works entirely online. Consultations take place via video calls and/or by telephone, and all guidance is provided digitally via the internet. This saves you travel time and allows you to easily fit it into your busy training schedule, wherever you are.

TWINDO Sport Nutrition Advice is a part-time consultancy. This means that availability for consultations and response times may vary. Expect a personal and committed approach, with quality taking precedence. For urgent queries or specific availability, please feel free to contact us to discuss the options.

From the moment the order confirmation is sent by TWINDO Sportvoedingsadvies, the order is final. You do not need to provide explicit confirmation or agreement. The order confirmation describes the agreed services, costs, and conditions. Do you have any questions or doubts beforehand? Please contact us before submitting a request.

Payment can be made via:

  • Online payment link: iDEAL, credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Bank transfer to the specified IBAN number

Upon booking, you will receive an invoice with both options, so you can choose what is easiest for you.

An order can be terminated at any time. However, no refund will be given unless our General Terms and Conditions are met. Please refer to these terms for more information on when cancellation is possible and what rights you have.

TWINDO Sports Nutrition Advice specialises in sports nutrition advice for healthy athletes looking to optimise their performance. In cases of medical indication, guidance from a registered (sports) dietitian is necessary, as they can provide the correct care and this may also be reimbursed by health insurance. I would therefore be happy to refer you to a registered (sports) dietitian.

The turnaround time depends on how quickly you provide the intake form and food diary, and the consultation schedule. On average, a complete sports nutrition advice programme takes 4 to 6 weeks.
